Families would love this place
The location was ideal, right in the center of everything, so you could get food anywhere you needed. They had a well-equipped kitchen which was very helpful especially when you’re traveling with kids.
It wasn't exactly budget-friendly but still acceptable.

Staying here made it super easy for me to stroll over to kelso abbey in just a few steps, and being able to walk to the kelso war memorial within a minute was a real treat. the kitchen was well-equipped, allowing me to have breakfast at my own pace, which I loved as a solo traveler looking for convenience in a busy weekend.

Had a great stay! The apartment was spacious, clean, and comfiest bed ever. Perfectly located near all the local eateries and shops, and I loved having a well-equipped kitchen to whip up a late-night snack.
The stairs might as well have been a treadmill—my calves are still weeping! Oh, and I could hear the nightlife like I was at a front-row concert—yikes!

Our stay was cozy, especially enjoying the free parking right outside and the quiet atmosphere despite being in the heart of town. The on-site hot tub and sauna provided lovely relaxation after a day of exploring. Just a heads up, the entrance hall could use some sprucing up, but it didn’t ruin our experience. 😊

Well-equipped kitchen made cooking easy.
Carpets needed a good scrub and were quite stained.

The local food scene is a treasure chest! Don’t miss The Cream Chimneys for divine coffee and dessert, and Saddlers Restaurant & Bar for a hearty meal that’ll warm your soul. Plus, the spacious Classic Double Room provided a cozy retreat after exploring the vibrant square.
Cleanliness was a bit dodgy, with carpets needing a good scrub and a few too many dusty corners. the noise from the street can be a right bother from dawn till dusk.
